From 17 to 19 October 2023, a delegation from the new Council travelled from London to Nanjing under the leadership of President Zhang Hai and Chair Ren Guangfeng.
The delegation met the Jiangsu CPPCC, the United Front Work Department of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, the Jiangsu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Jiangsu Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, and relevant authorities in Nanjing. Discussions covered trade, investment, overseas liaison points, talent and cultural exchange.
